William Lang, Chief Judge
The Center for Family Justice (CFJ) calls for the removal of Chief Judge William F. Lang.
  • Apparently Chief Judge William F. Lang has a problem with paying his taxes. This file, taken from the Bernalillo County public records, shows that he has had a number of liens on his property for failure to pay taxes. If our Judge Lang cannot even follow state and federal laws and pay his own taxes, how can he be fit to judge any of us? Note also that he was married three times in twelve years. Isn't there a saying about 'manage your own house before considering the affairs of others'?"
  • CFJ President Leslie Cumiford has had a serious illness affecting nearly every organ and system in her body. Lang held a hearing in spite of a signed medical document stating that she is unavailable for legal proceedings. Please review the motion to stay this case.
  • Bernalillo County Chief Judge William Lang takes custody away from a mother without her knowledge and hands a two-year-old child over to father, who pleads guilty to charges of battery of the mother and cruelty to children. This long, sordid, and terribly sad story begins years ago in 1995, when Judge Lang was on the bench in Bernalillo County family court.
  • A Father's constitutional rights are violated because with no written justification armed courthouse security guards began harassing and stalking him every time he entered the courthouse. Three months later with no reason given Chief Judge Lang issued an order for Father to be escorted by armed guards.

Several Writs of Mandamus has been filed against Judge William Lang regarding his denial of due process rights.

Do you have information of concern or have you filed a complaint to an official regarding this Judge? CFJ would like to know! Please contact us via email info@family-justice.org class telephone (505) 319-3486, or postal mail at P.O. Box 21996, Albuquerque, NM 87154. Help us root out problem persons in the court system!
