Important Information About the Players in Rick Hermann's Case

Judge Lorenzo F. Garcia:  The federal judge in Rick's case is the presiding judge over the Federal District Court here in Albuquerque. He is also a MALDEF scholar from the 70's. Keep in mind that CFJ, Rick included, is very busy revealing information about MALDEF racketeering, including human trafficking, in New Mexico

Robert Gorence: The man who called Rick's mother (she did not call him) and offered to handle the case as Rick's attorney. Gorence is Senator Pete Domenici's son-in-law who spent many years working in the U.S. Attorney's office for New Mexico - the very office that is prosecuting the case against Rick! He has represented such MALDEF heavy-hitters as Eric Serna and Raul Parra in the (MALDEF) Manny Aragon courthouse indictment in the past. Gorence filed an entry of appearance in the case on Friday, January 11, 2008 just prior to Rick's detention hearing without ever having met Rick. He claimed that Rick's mother "hired" him, although at that point she had not done so. He talked Rick into waiving his right to a preliminary hearing, resulting in a finding by MALDEF Judge Garcia of probable cause that he committed the acts for which he has been accused.
